The Uncle Joe tribute! It's here, a tribute to a mainstay inspiration. A solo pack canoe made sense for this design tribute. Solo pack canoes are the broadsword of canoe adventures, and Uncle Joe was the sharp edge pushing nieces and nephews into adventure. Uncle Joe known by most through story and remark is near a hallmark level reference when citing West Coast adventures and outdoor activities. Uncle Joe; if not mentioned in story, then the story was probably not very adventure like of terribly exciting. So, in due respect we've packed "The Uncle Joe" with as many adventuresome features we could. Reasonable carrying capacity, a practical length for portage yet adequate for tracking, significant bow rocker for manoeuvrability with some flatness in the stern to eliminate wondering, tumble home to get the paddle in deep and close, flared ends so she wont' ship water mixed with fine entry and exit so she cuts through chop. We think this is what Uncle Joe might like to paddle; that's why it is the way it is, plain and simple. Something to feed the adventuresome spirit in the youth that Uncle Joe was so adapt
