The Monarch, a quintessential tripping canoe. Designed to get way out there, and back again. Easy paddling and tracking, a soon to be made classic lined canoe. The Monarch is a great family tripping canoe with space for gear and family members. It it light and responsive for it's size. It's length lends itself to good tracking, while building it without a keel will ensure you have plenty of responsiveness in direction and turning. Ultra lightweight buildling techniques get this craft at about 50lbs, while typical crafting techniques and standards will get you closer to 80lbs.

This purchase will give you access to a ARCH D paper size pdf. When printed full scale there is no need to adjust or scale the mold pages. To save on printing cost you can request from a local print shop to print only the mold plan pages.
Each set of plans also comes with three full size paddle blade templates!
