Le Enfont Le Roy 13
We all know somebody that never lets others set them back or keep them from going where they like. Somebody who dances to their own music, sombody singing and writing their own solos... Somebody who makes their own waves. If that somebody was a paddler, this would be their canoe! Designed as a light agile solo canoe. With adequate tumble home and low midships, staying centered is easily achieved with a "C" stroke. Modest rocker in the stern increasing towards the bow means her ends release delicatly when entering an eddyline. Intended use areas are sheltered lakes, calm bays and slow moving rivers. Ultra light and 13' length makes it a breeze to carry during portage and stowingin smaller storage areas. This smaller craft is fun with a double paddle but is equally manouverable with any moderatly experienced single blade paddler. With ultra lightweight building techniques this boat could achiave a maximum weightof only 25lbs, however with typical strip building sizes and norms it's closer to a still manageble 35lbs.
